Two ebook iterations of this classic Eric Stanton femdom story were derived from the original booklet, published in the US, printed with ink on paper. Others of this period include The Island of Agony series.
Illustrated with mixed-media drawings, the story and its articulate language realize rhetorical consistency. Precise coordination of pictures and prose reflect pursuit of quality, delivering a domination story that intensifies pain and humiliation for the helpless male throughout its progress.
Queenie, a strong African-American woman of exceptional proportions, answers a condescending classified ad for a maid job. She finds the advertiser to be a weak, pretentious white man and proceeds to “tame” and train him.
This involves stripping, hitting, whipping, binding, and ridiculing the would-be employer. Queenie wears lacy undies, heels and lingerie as she hurts her naked captive.
While sitting on him, she pours coffee on his face, then tells him to lick it off the floor. For those who like dominant female/submissive male scenarios,
Stanton-style, the booklet offers an excellent, pre-Stantoons serving of steamy punishments.
digital replica
The original is about 30 pages, approximately half of which are full-page Stanton illustrations. Each page of the original book is on a separate ebook page.
Horizontally oriented illustrations were rotated 90º, reduced in size to fit the page. An enlarged, cropped version of each horizontal image was added above the complete image.
The digital replica preserves the page sequence of the original. As possible, pictures are enlarged, cropping out some furniture, curtains and other extraneous image content.
optimized ebook
The text was re-set for the optimized ebook. Few changes were made to the expert prose. 4800 words.
To accomplish close alignment of pictures and prose, some pages have both. Some text-only pages contain but a few sentences and many pages show only art.
The booklet has 17 pictures on 16 pages, many with borderless dialog balloons. Some of the lettering was re-positioned to show complete characters at maximum size.
In the optimized ebook, art illuminates 50 pages. Tasty fetish details — such as action, legs, and figure features — appear on separate pages as virtual enlargements, reducing the need for zooming and scrolling.
Brightness and contrast of images were adjusted for clarity, but some dark regions show specks.
All new scans.
The digital replica was made and first sold in 2006. The optimized version was produced in 2017. Both show respect and appreciation for the skill and passion of Mr. Stanton's mastery of bizarre, sexually-charged tableaux.
