A one-off volume, Pain by Lana takes the shape of a magazine and promotes two adult videos produced by California Star Productions. Photographs taken on the set of the Pain by Lana video fill more than half the magazine. The second video shows actors in dominant and submissive roles, inflicting bondage and punishment.
We've seen Lana White in House of Milan magazines, dominating both men and women. She enjoys her work as dominatrix and here she torments (she calls it “playing”) Layne, her willing and articulate submissive. Commentary by both Lana and Layne accompanies the mostly monochrome photographs.

Long-haired Lana smiles as she plays with her helpless volunteer. Dressed in leather leotard, tights and boots, she binds his genitalia to pipes with ropes and pinches his nipples with metal clips. In several pictures, her boots are against his face.
LANA: I like to play with people who can think for themselves. I want them to be able to give me honest, reliable feedback for safety reasons and I want them to be able to contribute to the scene and to give energy back to me. I don't like zombies who engage in macho endurance challenges ... I like true submission given to me, from an honest person that I can respect. To this person I will give back in kind my special benedictions, my special favors. . . pain. Ideally, I most enjoy that sort of person I consider an equal at other times, in other ways.
I like to take my time and I like eye contact. I like to look into my victim's eyes, as you see me doing here, while I create within his helpless body raging symphonies of sensation. That's my idea of a truly enjoyable afternoon.
Between a dominant and a submissive, pain speaks for itself. There is no real need for words. A whipping speaks for itself, too. In the whippings that you see here, the uninitiated will think it is not as bad as it looks. A cane also speaks for itself very well. If you have ever experienced caning you will understand.
LAYNE: This is a rare experience for me. My lover and owner is Mistress Kat, who is cruel indeed; but she is also my dearest friend and I always know she will take care of me. Most others I play with don't scratch deep enough for my itch. To me. Mistress Lana is a new person.

In the last sequence, she blindfolds him with a leather head harness. “Still weak from his previous ordeals, Lana continues to play her magic, re-binding Layne, but this time completely hooded. Slowly she removes more of his senses - allowing him to concentrate fully on the ones that he has left. Her eyes sparkle as she tightens the rope forcing him to arch his back. Little does he know there is much more to come.”
LAYNE: (After the 'Mistress' game) I didn't really want to come; but I did enjoy having the decision taken out of my hands – so to speak – and it was so nice to have permission for that sort of sensual experience, to feel her hair softly on me, to see her sitting above me on the couch, being amused as I sucked the heel of her boot. I see now that she did take me – like her dominant friend had described – to the edge of the cliff. She took me there and let me look over but she didn't let me fall over. My submissive heart feels full of gratitude to her for that.
Bob's Lesson

The moment we start watching this video we can tell that Bob is in dire need of correction. He argues with his wife but in his secret fantasies he is a pleasure slave to a beautiful, buxum, and stern Mistress. We sneak inside his daydreams and watch him grovel at Mistress Lana's [Alberts] feet as her whip snaps in the air above him menacingly.
His wife, Sherry, a dominatrix in her own right, has her stable of slaves but has never used her power on her husband.
Two of her slaves, noticing Sherry's dissatisfaction in her personal life, take matters into their own hands by going to Sherry's house in her absence, capturing the errant husband and taking him downstairs to Sherry's dungeon where they play dominatrix themselves. Bob, it turns out, gets just a little more than he can handle. Daydreams are not quite the same as the real thing. When the whip lands in his daydreams he winces but when it actually lands — he cries out in real pain as the stinging black leather leaves it red mark on his skin.
The ebook contains all content of the 48-page magazine, including advertising, in the original page sequence. Empty margins and some walls and carpets were cropped out.
Brightness, contrast and levels were adjusted, shadows reduced and many specks re-touched. Most pictures transposed nicely to ebook format.
