In the castle of Madame Lucasta, her obedient assistants are her slaves and so is everyone else. The pretty population of this fantasy community receive gruesome punishment from the woman in charge and her minions.

Punishments are grotesque and bloody. Rough bondage contraptions hold women in place while sadists hurt them too much. Whips, belts, spikes, clamps, cigarettes, brands, and gags do lots of damage. Even costumes are designed to injure . . . .

Olaf turned gloating to Cathy, the small blond sister of the pathetic Paulette. Cathy looked out of her mask at him, only her staring, green eyes showing. She was grabed from head to toe in leather.

Her legs were crushed within thigh high boots that laced up along the back from ankle to thigh. The laces had been pulled so tight that the legs could not bend and the black marks seared into the flesh by the laces would be visible for weeks. Within the boots were studs, thorns, and points, dull leather stingers which left marks upon the white skin and pain deep within the tissues.

A T-belt about her crotch and waist was the most agonizing of the parts of the outfit of agony. The belt was murderously tight, embracing her flesh in a clasp which almost tore the lips of her cunt in twain. Her crotch was deeply etched by the mark of the belt. Within her two holes were embedded great, ridged and studded rubber dildoes. They had been within Cathy's confines for days, and the need to defecate and piss was so strong now that she would pledge any indignity, any concession in order to find release.

Her tits were free above the tight waist cincher. But her nipples had been pierced and gold rings thrust through the gaping nipple holes. From her nipple rings hung ten pound weights, which swayed slightly from the paltry movement her bound body was still capable of exercising.

The mask completed her costume. Only the tortured, reddened eyes peering out of the two eye holes gave an indication of what the chained, dominated, and crushed spirit and body experienced.

Women hurt women, men hurt women, and a least one woman hurts a man. The story and its awful details will appeal to those who enjoy reading about torture and humiliation. Not for the squeamish.

About halfway through the story, slaves revolt. Weary and aching from Madame Lucasta's fierce abuse, her retinue conspire to usurp her authority and give her a taste of her own discipline. The grand madame doesn't like it, but her former servants tell her that she's getting just was she used to dish out.

Mr. Bilbrew did a fine job of delineating the grotesque cruelty described in the text. [The most graphic do not appear on this page.] His 24 illustrations take the form of a comic strip with dialog balloons. Most of these layouts consist of two panels.

His pictures approximate the narrative, showing action that's similar to scenes in the prose. There's little correlation between his tableaux and adjacent text.

The ebook contains every page of the 48-page volume in the original page sequence.

The tonality of the ink work was adjusted, yielding smooth edges and nice contrast.
