Like the pizza-delivery pretext of 1970s adult videos, bizarre stories, such as those told in Bizarre Books, need a way for an innocent male to enter the lair of one or more gorgeous sadists. In Island of Domination, Judson's college friend Zena persuades him to take a much-needed vacation.
Sitting beside her on the plane to Martinique, he dreams about the last four months of humiliation exacted for the entertainment of fiancee Brenda. A flashback recalls the night he and Brenda went to the opera. Although the woman looked beautiful and alluring in her black silk sheath, he was embarrassed that her dress exposed so much of her body. When they returned to her apartment, she stripped him, tied him to a chair, slapped him and ridiculed him for his lack of respect.
After re-arranging his bonds, she fit a bizarre hood of leather, rubber and metal on his head. Adjusting straps and buckles, it gagged and nearly blindfolded him. She pushed him down to kneel in front of her and impaled herself on the conical metal horn that jutted from top of the hood, using the appliance for her pleasure as she denied his carnal ambitions.
The back cover summarizes the story:
. . . .Trapped in Zena's web of torture and pain, bondage and discipline, Judson was made to endure her ruthless sexual and physical excesses. Assisted by a well-hung black stud and a nymphomaniacal voodoo enchantress, she lured Judson to a deserted plantation house, there to teach him the meaning of respect and submission to her fiendish and torturing rituals.
The carnal rites and devil worship were interrupted when Judson escaped. But his liberty was shortlived when he returned to the hotel, only to find Brenda waiting for him. And when the two domina-trices join hands, Judson is reduced to as lowly and abused a state as any man has ever been forced to endure . . . .
Mr. Mackenzie delivers a tale that's filled with sex and capricious punishment by voluptuous sadists who are as cruel as they are seductive. The author provides explicit details about fetish attire, bondage paraphernalia and the emotions they inspire. In this scene, Judson finds himself bound in a subterranean dungeon on the secluded island:
Judson did not know how long he had been unconscious, how long he had blacked out. He gave a feverish moan and whimpered, shaking his head as if to clear the cobwebs from his brain. His eyes blinked and his lids fluttered wide as he stared around him, trying to get his
bearings and figure out what had happened. But when he tried to move, he heard the frightening clank of chains. He tugged with his hands and glanced back, his eyes opening wide with panic and fear. . . . His hands were spread-eagled above his head, shackled to sturdy iron rings he could see were bolted into the brick wall against which he uncomfortably leaned.
He tugged at his wrists to no avail, his eyes moving wildly in their sockets as he stared around. A dungeon! he thought to himself as he looked around the dusty and shadowy chamber. It was like a catacomb. . . .
He screamed out then, rattling against his bonds. He glanced down at himself, surprised to see that Zena — for who else could be this diabolical, he instinctively realized — had dressed him in his undershorts, now bloodstained and tattered as they clung to his hips and crotch.
Other than that scrap of underclothing, his bruised body was naked. A low beam of light suffused the interior of the moldy chamber and at that moment he heard the telltale click of heels descending down a flight of worn stone steps at the far end of the room.
He strained to pierce the shadows, suddenly catching the reflective glint of leather, black patent leather. At first, all he could see were a pair of skintight boots, the arches raised up by six-inch tapering stiletto heels. . . .
He blinked rapidly and gaped at her, all eyes to her bizarre yet arousing costume. She wore a mini dress whose skirt was so short that he was certain he was able to see a few mossy ringlets of pubic fur visible at the bottom edge of the hemline. The sheath was of supple cowhide and it fit her as tightly as the boots, a second skin of black leather replete with long form-fitting sleeves. The bodice had a plunging V-shaped neckline, enabling him to see how her creamy-white breasts, already rosy with the start of a tan, rose and fell hotly as she stared at him with obvious delight.
“I brought you a present, dearie,” Zena went on, displaying to his unblinking gaze the object she had held behind her back.
“What. . . what is it?” he murmured with terror.
“A garrote, dearie. They used to use this kind of little beauty during the Spanish Inquisition, to strangle and thus execute heretics. And since you’ve proven not to be a believer in Lucifer, I’m curious to know how good a fit I can get around your neck.”
He tried to swing his weakened body to the side. But his hands were pinioned securely and he was unable to move out of her path. Zena held the iron collar with its screw-like tightening device, before his wide and bulging eyes. And then, tittering merrily, she slid it on around his neck and locked it shut.
It hung loosely, but she began to turn the screw ever so slowly, tightening the collar with each turn of the bolt. He froze, gasping for breath as he felt the collar digging into his neck and pressing against his windpipe.
“Please . . . no, don’t, don’t,” he moaned as she kept laughing and tightening the screw, not content until he gagged and his tongue hung out of his mouth. . . .
The text was re-set for the ebook iteration. Few changes were made to the expert prose. 38000 words.
Sixteen illustrations by the Great Bill Ward illuminate the story. His pictures delineate grand female forms wearing full fetish regalia, and moods that morph from fun to fury.
Mr. Ward's fine ink renderings were optimized for the ebooks. Virtual enlargements of action and figure features are intended to reduce the need for zooming and scrolling.
