This story is about a woman who hates men and loves women. In her world of broadcast commerce, she's attained status, power and a reputation for competence. This enables her to control the people with whom she interacts at her classy penthouse.
Janice Brent reminds her maid, Mia, that her residency in the USA, the clothes she wears, and her comfortable address are among the benefits bestowed upon her by her glamorous employer. Janice demands that Mia disrobe, deliver “prolonged oral love” and give her mistress a massage. They wind up in bed.
Actress Sandra Farrell exchanges small talk with Janis over dinner. It's clear that the actress seeks a role in the daytime soap opera Janis writes. Pretending she needs an actress who looks good in a bathing suit, she coaxes Sandra to take off her dress. After Janis slips out of her leather sheath, the two beauties adjourn to the bedroom for sapphic delights.
Young ad-agency copywriter Hope Sommers visits Janis with proposals for story development. Immediately, Janis decides she must have the pretty doll, and advises that acquiescence to amorous advances would ensure the implementation of Hope's suggestions. She's sure she doesn't swing that way, but cunning Janis employs techniques that accomplish sensuous self-discovery.
Janis' longtime business relationship with ad-agency vice-president Larry Kramer takes a kinky turn when she seeks help from him. Their friendship becomes personal, but Janis can't accept the natural attention of a typical male.
After she persuades him to dress as a woman, they develop a steamy connection that suits them both. “When she conquered Larry Kramer, when she transformed him into her humiliated male slave, she experienced a peculiar surge of self-satisfaction. It made her feel all-powerful. It helped her ease her yearnings for members of her own sex.”
The story begins after Janis Brent has achieved success as a television writer in New York City. She has contact with three women and a man and photographs illustrate those scenes.
Chapters Four and Five are flashbacks to Janis’ teen years and are not pictured in any of the photos. They describe experiences that are intended to explain her contempt for men.
The sequence of chapters has been revised in the ebook, presenting Chapter Four and Chapter Five first to achieve chronological order. Pictures are arranged in the sequence of the original, but their insertion begins in the third chapter of the ebook, which is Chapter One.
The pictures have some relevance to the text but were not necessarily placed near prose that describes them. As in the print version, the ebook alternates pages of text with pages of photography. No effort has been made to align the pictures with the prose.
The ebook contains all the content of the original, including the front cover, back cover and title pages. The text has been re-set for the ebook version.
Image tonality was adjusted.
All new scans. 70 pictures.
The publication of this novel coincides with early issues of Bizarre Life. The models, fetish costumes and setting (Mr. Burtman's New York apartment) also appear in the magazine. The dominant female character typifies his commanding ideal.
This rare publication mixes prose and pictures in a conscientiously assembled tome that celebrates female domination. The ebook makes this unusual femdom fantasy easy to enjoy.
