While some she-male magazines of the 1980s presented trans models as angry mistresses in shiny leather, Tess works to show the softer side of transsexual beauties in lingerie, heels and hosiery. The collection begins with extravagant enthusiasm for the sensuality of Hawaiian islands and their denizens.

The islands conjure visions of white sandy beaches and swaying palms against the tropical setting sun. For most mainlanders, Hawaii is a sensuous playground — an escape from the concrete and steel of the big cities. Those who vacation there return with a reborn sense of themselves, a new feeling of eroticism.

And for those who have been born and raised on the islands, Hawaii is a state of mind as well as being. The people are accustomed to balmy tropical nights and moon-lite swims. They are a culture of sensualists, easily accommodating themselves to the excitement and stimulation of the senses.

That is one reason why Hawaii has been able to produce such a magnificent crop of she-males and female impressionists — performers and models who have established themselves throughout the world as the superstars in entertainment and modeling. We are proud and delighted to be able to present some of those Hawaiian products, impressionists and she-males who are as beautiful as the islands themselves!

The 48-page magazine assembles pictures from mostly post-1970 photo shoots. Photographs show shapely feminine forms with long, wavy hair, often punctuated by male indicia in the hands of the model.

About half the magazine consists of photographs of cover girl Tess, who poses in lacy lingerie, stockings and sandals. In some pictures, she holds a feathery leather spanker.

Superstars of Hawaii collects photos of female impersonators Serena Saunders, Holli White, Shalei, Andrea Nicole, and Brandy Lee. Some of these pretty posers may be known under other names.

The last set presents petite princess Tanya, who stands in shiny thigh boots and leather as well as lacy negligee. In some pictures, she holds a cat o' nine tails.

The ebook includes all content of the magazine in the original page sequence. A few page layouts were revised. Some margins, borders, walls and floors were cropped out.

Brightness, contrast and levels were adjusted and shadows reduced. The ebook presents images with smooth gradients and sharp edges.
