Fanni Hall Number 4 is our sixth product in the series. While TO BE CONTINUED constitute the last words in the magazine-sized publication, and the story stops at a moment of uncertain suspense, we're not aware of a sequel.
The barely-identified institutional villain is not so much a political axis as a nefarious commercial enterprise that colludes with certain office holders. Fanni's on a rescue mission paid for by a captive's father. Conflicts work as pretext to tighten assorted restraint contraptions around shapely women.
Madame, Suni, Fanni, Sondra, and Dawnelle tangle with organization “goons” and each other. Characters function in both binder and bindee roles as plot angles switch through turnabout upsets. The good girls get outnumbered and trapped in a messy terrain that's designed for misdirection and ambush.
The Bishop gets praise for his deft renderings of compact bodies in duress, but he was also a gifted storyteller. His descriptions of moods and circumstances disclose a hip, sympathetic narrator who knows a lot about martial arts, restraint utensils and their painful consequences. He spins hundreds of words about the assets and shortcomings of specific firearms, their origins and evolution. Brief spats of dialog accomplish thorough communication between characters of varied competence levels. His colorful vernacular ravels through scenes without inhibition.
Sondra laid Madame back on the wooden slab and bound her upper body firmly to the board with some of the rope. She took another length of the rope, tied it around the ankle cuff and pulled Madame's feet up and back and doubled her legs up against her chest, then kept pulling until her shins were pressed into the side of her face. Only then did she tie off the rope. Another rope wound around her legs just behind the knees and the position was completed. Alissa nodded and a short cane clattered onto the floor.
Madame clearly was not enjoying this; the backs of her legs were totally exposed and taut as wire from her heels to her bottom. Worse, her bare sex stuck out as if it were a side show all by itself. . .
"Take out the gag. I want a little background music," Alissa commented. Sondra fumbled with the buckle, largely hidden behind Madame's head and tangled in her hair. "We'll just leave yours on, Sondra, old chum."
The first stroke was about as bad as she'd expected, and the second and third predictably more so, especially with her legs so stretched. It wasn't until the cane sought out that part of her so conspicuously arrayed that she began to scream and beg. . .
The next day found the two of them dangling from the ceiling. They faced each other, joined at their heads by a gag that had a pear on both sides and double straps to hold two mouths about the pears. Their weights were held up by an enormously thick rubber strap stretching from one side of the cell to the other. This they sat astride, as well as the anchored dildoes, one for each. Their ankles were stretched wide to the walls at the sides of the strap. Their arms were caught up in leather pouches behind their backs.
For hours they bobbed and swayed on the perch, coming to increasingly violent orgasms as the gentle undulations of the strap worked the rubber phalluses deep into their bodies. At intervals, Alissa would brand white-hot lines across their legs and flanks with another of the canes. The pain seemed somehow to work as
an absolutely perfect counterpoint to the overwhelming erotica of the ride on the strap. Neither of the two women would have believed such vividly intense sensations to be possible at all, let alone desirable. Or survivable.The look Alissa directed up to them was smug, almost loquacious in its aura of contentment. And something else, Sondra dimly perceived. She struggled against the waves of sexual explosions that seemed somehow to go right to the top of her head and then all the way back to the tips of her toes and then back again, always returning to and originating from between her legs. Even the slight turning of her head to better see Alissa's upturned face brought forth a paroxysm of sweating, writhing delight. Alissa was extremely pleased about something. Her stare was fixed on Madame.
The 1979 original shows Mr. Bishop's adroit artistry on about half its pages. Most pages contain multiple tableaux, within defined borders and in montage-styled arrangements of layered images. Some pages only hold text.
Deft renderings of his svelte captives employ bondage schemes that present luscious femininity in brazen displays. Illustrations depict confining devices with industrial precision, showing careful attention to knots, buckles, chain links, spikes, rings, hooks and rivets. He designed a diverse wardrobe of gags, blindfolds, collars, gloves, boots, belts and cuffs.
Expert airbrush gradients express chrome-like gleam and shadow on flesh and leather work. As we retrospectively appreciate Mr. Bishop's unique style and creative genius, it seems he enjoyed expanding the graphic lexicon of stretched, suspended, twisted and bent curvaceousness.

One optimized ebook contains text and pictures. The text was reset for the ebook. The story opens with a summary of parts one, two and three. Few changes were made to the friendly vocabulary, but some spelling, paragraphing and punctuation were revised. 28,000 words.
Image tonality was adjusted. The ebook disassembles Mr. Bishop's composite illustrations, isolating complete tableaux and virtual enlargements of picture regions that show bondage arrays, action and figure features. This digital technique intends to reduce the need for zooming and scrolling.
As possible, graphic elements were placed near text that describes them. Not all pictures are described in the story. Pictures don't show every scene that's discussed in the text.
