In words and photographs, this issue of Violent Adventure chronicles the exploitation and exploits of a familiar Eros Goldstripe model, here named Annette. The full-sized magazine presents the pretty brunette's ordeals and indulgences in clearly named episodes, described with copious prose.

Maid to Order

Annette arrives at the comfortable home of Lana and the Count, who watch as the new maid dons her uniform. She's told that she must obey all orders.

The Count makes lewd advances, causing Annette to panic and scream. Lana arrives with a paddle to discipline the errant newcomer. After she receives punishment, she naps, but the Count again intrudes.

While shouting nasty epithets, Lana whips two lithe slave girls in panties and chains. Then the Count enforces bizarre, degrading punishment.

When Annette is left with the two girls, they try to convince her to unlock their bondage. Instead, she flees.

Prisoner of Pain

While resting by the side of a wilderness road, Christine and Tony drive up. They whip her bottom with a cat o' nine tails, tie her to the back of their car and take her to their place.

In the living room, blond Christine strips down to garter belt, stockings, gloves and boots while Tony wears nothing but a leather hood. After they remove the maid uniform, they take turns whipping their sweet captive. Then Tony decides to dress her in leather and boots. As in many Burtman-produced scenarios, the leather costume causes personality change.

Taught to Obey

In Tony's apartment, Annette announces that she's now in charge and encounters his roommate Doreen. At first, Annette and Tony make out on the couch. Then, the two women decide that Tony should wear a maid costume. In dress, apron, fishnets and wig, helpless Tony watches as the two fetish divas canoodle in bed.

The deluxe magazine has some full-color pages. As a money-saving tactic,16 center pages are printed on rough, colored stock. Some photographs in that section show the texture, not intended for presentation of photography.

In pursuit of narrative precision, the piece has studious captions (not vague Goldstripe magazine picture blurbs) to describe each photo-tableaux. That's a lot of work. And a lot of expense, when adding up the cost of three or six models per episode, a total of 25,000 words, and an original cover painting.

The digital replica has all the content of the 100-page original, including five pages of advertising. To preserve continuity in the viewing experience, the ads appear on the last pages of the ebook. Some page layouts were revised to achieve presentation of pictures without reduction in size.

As the words Violent Adventure constitute the name of the magazine that provides source material for this product, stories contain gratuitous punishments. Dialog includes nasty epithets, dramatizing anger and contempt between characters. The vocabulary of the narrative is often vulgar.

A rare 1970s artifact, Violent Adventure offers a banquet of femdom imagery. Helpless lovelies and cruel beauties wear leather, gloves, garter belts, taut hosiery, panties, boots and pumps. For those who enjoy scenes of cruel vixens hurting women and men with assorted punishment utensils, the classic content will invite frequent inspection. Digital renditions make everything easy to access.

Brutal Twosome

A magazine pictorial of 16 pages, Brutal Twosome shows attractive bitches in boots shred a man's clothing, tie him, gag him, and take turns whipping him with a cat o' nine tails. In the last photo, the two women shake hands across the defeated figure.
