The sixth issue of this special interest periodical brims with articles about parties, protests, performers, personalities, products and lovers. Printed on two kinds of paper, the 64-page issue includes some coverage of female impersonators but also focuses on the lives and lifestyles of recreational cross dressers.

A Legal T.V. Wedding

Antonio and Billie obtained a marriage license from the clerk of Wharton County, Texas. A preacher in Houston tied the knot. Billie was a man in women's bridal attire, but her transformation convinced everyone who saw her. The state of Texas later tried to have the marriage invalidated. With pictures of the couple, the preacher and the marriage license.

Salmacis

Founder Sally Anne Douglas writes about the New Social Society of for Femmes of Both Sexes. That means females who were born women and females who started life as men. Today's third generation feminists might object to men who attribute the status of women to themselves. With photographs of long-haired Sally.

Kim Christy

Trimmed in feathers and glitter, Kim dances on a night club stage on two pages.

Queen's Liberation

Led by Lee Brewster, the transvestite contingent in New York's Gay Pride Parade dressed in varied costumes to affirm their rights and solidarity on the streets of Manhattan. Photos show marchers holding signs.

It's A Ball, Baby!

One of the gayest events of the year in the TV circuit is Frankie Quinn's Paris in Spring Ball, held each year at the Diplomat Hotel in New York City.

Frankie never fails to put on a swinging show, assisted by some of the hippest people in the cross-dressing world. Stunning fashions and stunning people are the order of the evening. . . .

It's rumored that the days of the big balls are gone forever, but if you go to one of Frankie's balls . . . . the swinging scene is still swinging as wild and free as ever.

Some of the top TV entertainers are on hand to provide fun, or just to be seen. Even those who don't hunger for the roar of the crowd and the smell of greasepaint put on a pretty good show, too.

A Lez Meets A TV

Photos on 14 pages show two feminine lovers at play.

Pudgy Cornered
