Printed on paper that's not much better than pulp, Black Lace forms as erotic ephemera that intended to titillate adult males. Three short stories, probably written by the same person, use innuendo to develop circumstances that tease the affluent male protagonists as well as readers.

The publisher's name — Suum Cuique — translates from Latin as “to each, his own.” Using those words here attempts to identify the collected subject matter (i.e., male fascination with attractive women) as intended for those with esoteric tastes.
The focus of all three stories could be characterized as a tiny bit racy or risque for the 1950s but they don't come close to being pornographic or even bawdy.

Suum Cuique transliterates to Some Seek. This is another way to exclude those interested in the subjects presented in Black Lace magazine from readers with typical interests.

The Bilbrew drawings and Guyette photographs show some heels, hosiery, corsets and other fetish attire. Pictures add spice but their content is unrelated to adjacent narrative.

A Bitter Thorn

An affluent heterosexual male meets a lovely young woman he finds irresistible. Many references to nudity.

The Devil's Invitation

A young dancer dazzles a lusty Marquis. She makes him wait for satisfaction.

Great Alternatives

A knight must choose one of the king's daughters. An alternative lifestyle accomplishes happy ever after.

The ebook consists of 60+ scanned pages, including front and back covers, and table of contents. When reading the stories, a page of text seems to be missing.

Brightness and contrast were adjusted. Bilbrew drawings transposed to ebook format with clarity. The photographs were improved but tonality is poor on some.
