Mr. Burtman published magazines titled High Heels throughout the 1960s. Few of the photos shown in those issues showed women in high heels. He reconstituted the title in 1970, with a new name plate, a new brand (Eros Goldstripe), and a new publishing company named Eros.
Issue Five offers a pleasing assortment of shapely models in shoes and boots, many with five-inch heels. Some pictorials tout the pleasures of dressing up in fetish attire, others show women so-outfitted dominating errant males.
Like other Burtman-related booklets and magazines, the front and back covers of High Heels 5 are unrelated to its content.
A Taste of Leather
A blond in waist-cincher, nylons, long gloves and knee boots manages whip and cat at the expense of a slender brunette in thigh boots. Many revealing poses on a bed.
Dora's Gentle Touch
In shiny knee boots, thigh boots and pumps with six-inch heels, Dora shows us her garter belt, long gloves, and everything else while reclining on a bed.

Introduced by a Bill Ward illustration, the story tells of a businessman who meets sexy Hermione in front of a leather boutique. Open to his advances, she invites him to her apartment. There, Bill learns that not all is quite as it appears.
The digital replica contains all content of the 72-page magazine, including advertising. Page sequence was revised slightly to obtain continuity of the fiction piece. Some margins, borders, walls and floors were cropped out.
Brightness, contrast and levels were adjusted and shadows reduced. Some specks were retouched. Photographs appear clear in the ebook, improving on the quality of the printed pages.
