Vanquished Victim – Subjugated in Rubber
In 1964, Mr. Klaw published a Nutrix booklet version of Stern Dominant Women Bind Man in Female Attire, the last of three Harry works. I guess that Vanquished Victim – Subjugated in Rubber was published in California a few years after that. The appearance and proportions of the feminized male in Vanquished Victim duplicates the punished subjects in Dominating Tame-Azons of 1963 [product #431]. In Dominating Tame-Azons , Harry provided illustrations for a story. Vanquished Victim is a comic with captions and balloons, one panel per page, a complete story in a digest-sized booklet.

Vanquished Victim is closer to pure Harry as the narration and dialog are his vocabulary or someone with whom he chose to collaborate. I would also guess that the story is Harry’s own invention, possibly something he would have bought if he had found it.

THE PLOT: A “puny panty-waist,” the vanquished victim is an apparel designer who displeases his client, Barbara, when he fails to fastidiously adhere to her exact specifications. To shame and humiliate him for his shortcomings, she divests him of his male attire and dresses him in an assortment of ravishing, rubber ensembles. The exciting feminine outfits in which she encases her captive include rubber bloomers, waist-cinchers, stockings, girdles, bras, gloves, neck and waist corsets, and an assortment of high-heeled shoes and boots. She stifles him with varied gags and helmets. Using arm-binders, ropes, cuffs and complex contraptions, Barbara immobilizes her target while she berates him. Applying a broad spectrum of deluxe cosmetics, she renders her helpless male “adorable.” Then, she invites the women of her clandestine bondage club to meet her bound and silenced captive, providing opportunity for them to exercise their bizarre ingenuity on the girlish prisoner. In the end, Barbara becomes bored with his subjugation and turns him loose.

THE ART: In each single-panel page, Harry signed his drawings with a capital H on a curled square of paper. Vanquished Victim looks and reads like a comic book story, with characters, furniture, and apparatuses on white backgrounds. Fascinated by rubber attire, the dominating female has a single, serious expression.

Bondage contraptions, confining undergarments and binders are delineated with conscientious detail. Precise illustrations disclose lacy trims, the gleam of rubber, industrial fasteners, D-rings, buckles, and straps. Wearing earrings and makeup, the bullied male appears in a state of passive surrender as he models his captor’s deliberately feminine costumes

THE EBOOK: This unique publication is presented as both a digital replica and optimized ebook. In the optimized version, the 36 panels are presented without captions or dialog balloons. Most of the fetish elements and bondage devices are repeated, enlarged, beside complete drawings or on the following page.

The ebooks offer opportunity to see the clever work of a little-known artist with substantial talent and an appealing point of view. Fans of illustration with males-in-bondage, femdom, forced feminization or T-V themes will enjoy this visual treat.

He’s Her Sister
When Joan injures her ankle, the tennis team suddenly needs a new player. They recruit her brother John, who is re-named Joanie after they re-upholster him as a sexy girl. After the tennis match, the team dresses him in several provocative outfits, all involving a waist-cinch, padded bra and high-heeled footwear. They make him gyrate at a dance and have a date with Butch, who is also under the domination of this clique of mean women.

Although unnamed, the author of the story chisels effective, first-person prose with plenty of fetish details that describe undergarments, shoes, hosiery, skirts, fabrics and feelings. The text tells the story from the point of view of the intimidated, conventional male who is forced to present himself as a voluptuous female by “a bunch of angry, sneering girls.” This a tale of femininity imposed on a straight guy who would rather appear and behave as one. While he appreciates the sensuousness of tight-fitting foundations and skirts and how alluring he looks in wig and makeup, he repeats his embarrassment at pretending he’s a glamorous babe.

Six drawings by Van O. demonstrate more than adequate talent for drawing feminine curves. The sequence of pages has been revised slightly in the ebook to more closely align the pictures with relevant text.
