We've bundled two Neptune Productions magazines for this product. Although they have different titles, both have personal ads and photographs that show guys in drag having fun, sometimes with each other. Men pictured in these publications are not models.

The Female Impersonator, Number 12

Most of the magazine deals more with recreational cross-dressing than the lives and artistry of professional entertainers.

Dusky Drag

Posing in what might be an apartment, cheerful female impersonator Wayne Mills exposes all of his assets in an assortment of costumes and nothing at all. He performed at the M & K Club in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

I Dress for Kicks

An unnamed cross-dresser poses in varied undies, hosiery and lingerie. In both blond and brunette wigs, he reveals his feminine side. Accompanying first-person prose provides a history of his fascination with female clothing, his childhood friends, mother's wardrobe and feelings of guilt.

Lucy Has A Party

A first-person account of a transvestite party with illustrations and descriptions of sex.

Drag Stars

This is a kind of quiz that asks us to name actors dressed as women in photographs from feature films. Famous men include Bob Hope, Danny Kaye,The Three Stooges, Bing Crosby, Lou Costello, Alec Guinness, Paul Lynde, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. With answers.

My Adventures at a TV Orgy

A small group of men in feminine undies canoodle, kiss and fondle for the camera. Accompanying text describes sexual encounters from the point of view of one of the people pictured. Some of the photos have focus issues.

TV Swingers, Volume 1, Number 1

In this first issue, editor Sandy Mesics opens with an editorial assertion that transvestites, like everyone else, need companionship.

By meeting others like ourselves, we will broaden our horizons and rid ourselves of the loneliness that occasionally comes from feeling different.

In a way, we are all different, but we have common needs. As TVs, we all share a love for feminine clothes, although some of us prefer to wear certain items only, such as lacy panties or garter belts and nylons. Others would much rather go all the way, and wear dresses, and other outer clothing normally worn by women.

Some of us try to pass in public, while others are content to relax at home dressed up, and would not dream of going out in public.

Many TVs dress as women because they feel that expresses a vital part of their personality, while others dress because they like the feeling of soft, feminine clothes. There are as many motivations for cross-dressing as there are cross-dressers themselves.

If there is one thing that we do have in common, it is the need for others. Some of us are seeking understanding female mates, an all too rare occurrence in these times. Some of us would rather have the company of a male instead.

Still others need help from other TVs concerning makeup and dressing techniques, to help them attain their feminine ideal. Some people advertise their willingness to do so.

It Could Happen For You

A transvestite picks up a guy who turns out to be a woman — “a double turnabout.” First-person narrative with photographs.

Help Is Everywhere

An essay lists publications and organizations that provide information and products for transvestites. With addresses.

TV's Are Breaking Out All Over

The New Prelude features local talent from the Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey areas. Many of these impersonators are part-time or amateur performers, but they can hold their own under the footlights.

Each act is clearly well rehearsed. Everyone gives his all, and the cast works together in a unit, reflecting the many numbers of rehearsals that go into every act. Each performer is skilled at the art of costuming and makeup, as well as the all-important skill of mime.

The costumes are brilliant, sparkling with lame, glitter and sequins. They are well fitting, and obviously in good taste. As each performer makes his appearance, the elaborate costuming immediately catches the eye.

With photographs of performers onstage.

The First Hand Story of a Real Transvestite

An anonymous writer tells of his fascination with femininity starting in childhood. His first date as a female was arranged by his sister.

The remainder of the magazine consists of personal ads. Some of the ads fill two pages with photos of a transvestite swinger.

The ebook contains all content of the 48-page magazine in the original sequence, including advertising.

Brightness and contrast of images were adjusted and shadows reduced. Images in the ebook are easier to see than in the original.

All new scans. Male nudity.
