With New High Heels Number One, Leonard Burtman, publisher of Exotique and Bizarre Life, kicked off his Eros Goldstripe imprint. The magazine presents some nice heels, pretty legs and intriguing scenarios.

The 72-page magazine has three picture sets showing one or two women dominating a man. Unlike many Bizarre Life scenarios in which a fetish diva punishes a man for misconduct, these ladies punish and humiliate for the fun of it.

Pictorials show models in pumps and boots with heels of at least five inches. They hold whips and wear stockings, but because of the decade, they are seamless. No other publisher of this period showed men at women’s feet any better (or at all). These pictorials integrate femdom and fetish themes, as illustrated by the cover. A fourth set has a long-haired model by herself.

This issue also contains other pictures, some good, which only vaguely relate to the magazine’s title. On most pages, expect to find female nudity but men show-off as well. The gratuitous pink in this volume reflects the newly-won press liberty of the day and may add an additional erotic element for some.

The magazine also has a lengthy short story with two Gene Bilbrew illustrations and an article titled “A Study in High-Heels,“ which has an Eric Stanton illustration.

The digital replica of the magazine presents every page with its original layout and photo tonality adjustments. The optimized version places 120 photos from the magazine on ebook pages that fill the horizontal rectangle of your screen. Adjustments of photo tonality have done these pictures a lot of good.

The last pictorial is a femdom sequence of 32 dark photos, some of which are crammed six-to-a-page. The optimized version brightens and appears to enlarge these images, making them easier to see.

All new scans. Female and male nudity.

NOTE
Although some parts of pictures are obscured on this page, the ebook shows everything that's in the original.
