The booklet revisits characters introduced in Stanton work titled The Case of the V-Pants . Evelyn Handleman takes charge of a predicament her boss, General Sweetland, can't handle.

In this seamy scenario, evil-doers conscript innocent girls into dancing at shady New Orleans bars and other sex commerce. Laura, the General's niece, gets blackmailed into this dangerous underworld, and no one but Evelyn has the dexterity to extricate her.

Many scenes involve fisticuffs and grappling between Evelyn and her foes. Tough characters exchange threatening dialog.

The prose provides copious details of figure features and fetish attire. Hits, pins and scissor holds lead to creative bondage schemes, one involving a corset around a man's arms.

Mr. Stanton contributed eight elegant, comic-style ink illustrations that show shapely characters fighting. His fierce females usually appear in stockings and heels, but tableaux expose fast action more than fetish elements.

Brightness and contrast were adjusted. The ebook contains all content of the 35-page booklet in the original sequence.

No part of the booklet names its origins. The re-titled publication probably copied a piece Mr. Stanton published himself. Whether its first title was Horror Pillory or something else, this obscure work demonstrates the Maestro's comic book illustration skill with a friendly nod toward adult entertainment.
