Belle Starr by Edmundo Marculeta

Riding into town with his bride, Red Gazelle, in tow, Sam spots Belle standing at the door of a saloon in front of her own reward poster. When the sheriff tries to arrest her, she stops him with her long whip.

Belle, Red and Sam ride to a secluded cabin. Sam misbehaves and Belle smacks him with her riding crop. Belle labels his flesh with hot brands after Red spanks her husband.

Mr. Marculeta renders his angry vixens with lovely curves and contours, using ink, watercolor, and other media. His brutal females punish gracefully, without restraint or regret.

Each magazine page consists of two sets of panels, formatted for wide pages. These evenly sized sets of panels are numbered 1 through 24. A second ebook presents the 24 layouts on 24 ebook pages that match the artist's original format.

Whippers All by Eric Stanton

Wife Diane's riding crop thwarts Jeff's plans for a Mexico divorce. Whipping hubby and his Honey, Diane soon has the situation in hand. She tells Honey to tie his wrists to bed posts and whip him. The angry wife pokes Honey with a boot heel and has her pose on top of him.

Diane pushes a whip handle between her husband's cheeks, then bites him. In the last scene, all three connect in a most ignominious configuration of bodies.

The Maestro used pastels and pencils to delineate his anguished triangle. Diane's vicious indignation plays across her face as she takes pleasure from wreaking pain and indignity on her visitors. Hapless captives show understandable misery.

Family Affair, Book 4 by Eric Stanton

Dolly's riding crop lands on her stepbrother Teddy and, with big Laury's help, stepfather Henry. While Laury gives him a spanking, Lorraine dresses up for the arrival of Henry's lawyer, Mr. Benson.

Henry tells Benson that he's reconsidered divorce. Lorraine urges Benson to participate in Henry's bizarre therapy. With his bottom exposed, Henry lies on Benson's lap while Laury and Lorraine whip.

Shapely and strong, Mr. Stanton's oppressors dazzle with glamour and venom. Here he used mostly pencil, which some say was his favorite medium, and painted-in black and gray regions. His dynamic drawings, many full page, show squirming captives and quick whips.

For it's pain, humiliation and precise renderings, Book 4 serves as one of the best episodes in the series. And, as this episode of Family Affair was produced with ink on coated paper and a printing press, the presentation shows the clarity it deserves.
