More a pinup magazine than a fetish publication, Satana, 5, shows a pleasing array of figures on its 72 pages. While there are garter belts, stockings and a couple of nice waist-cinchers, there’s also a bit of nudity. In various stages of undress, pretty French models appear in two lengthy photos sets.
London cover lovely Margaret Middleton proves to be a competent poser who cheerfully displays her ample charms in a lengthy set of boudoir pix. Athletic Elka of Hamburg looks sexy from any angle.

Page layouts in the digital replica have been revised to obtain larger pictures. Empty margins were reduced or eliminated. The front cover has been re-constructed. Page 2 is missing a small amount of picture content.
The original page sequence continued prose pieces at the back of the magazine. The intent was to position the color centerfold within the photo set from which it came. In the digital replica, page sequence was revised to obtain continuity of the two prose pieces.
The ebooks are based on original scans. Specks have been retouched and image tonality adjusted. Some of the smallest pictures are grainy or show moiré patterns. Despite defects, the pictures in the ebooks look better than on the original paper.

The optimized ebook technique focuses on pictures, not magazine pages. Original layouts are dis-assembled to place each image on its own ebook page. Pictures of models fill the screen from top to bottom. In some cases, carpet, walls, and furniture have been cropped out of pictures.
A few details, such as stockings and panties, have been repeated, enlarged, beside the complete figure or on the following page. The result is a 130+ page picture album of pretty pinups, designed to anticipate the curiosity of the viewer.
