High Society Torture
The story introduces us to wealthy, famous people, many of whom need pain as foreplay in their sex lives. A crooner, journalist and politician have this desire and sculptress Laura and athlete John are pleased to satisfy their bizarre proclivities.

The novel has a plot that involves bad publicity, lawsuits, blackmail and revenge. Scenes involve bondage, whipping, boot and body worship. The senator meets the business end of a strap-on.

Ten fine illustrations by the Great Bill Ward illuminate the text. The narrative content of his pictures closely aligns with the prose.

Illustrations show rampant male enthusiasm (sheathed in stretched jockey shorts) for lovely females in sexy attire and footwear. Female characters appear in stockings, corsets, long gloves, high heels and boots. Costumes expose voluptuous pulchritude. Female nudity.

Mr. Marlowe has given us an engaging story and colorful characters who pursue kinky passions with luxury and gusto. He did a good job describing implements of torture and fetish attire. Exposing feelings and sensations, his text delivers a fast-moving tale with plenty of good parts.

Kidnapped for Torture
Just as Betty finishes dressing for a date, Madame Bouvier seizes the young beauty and takes her away in a limousine. On the drive, Betty must worship her captor's womanhood while being lectured about the pleasures of leather.

At massive Bouvier Manor, Betty must write her brother a note that beckons him to the place. Why? “He's a simpering sissy, and I have a 'thing' for simpering sissies,” Madame Bouvier explains. While awaiting Georgie's arrival, the Madame conditions her captive to experience punishment as exciting foreplay. Later, Georgie gets the same training and is dressed in sexy fetish wear and high-heeled boots.

Scenes present kinky characters, including the chauffeur, engaged in torment and sex, usually wearing exotic undies and footwear. Madame uses an assortment of whips and boot heels to hurt members of her household.

Twelve pictures (plus covers) show Mr. Ward's female ideal, in boots, high heels, long gloves, stockings and corsets. Most renderings expose female genitalia.
