While many H-O-M magazines are focused on women in bondage, Dominique depicts women in command of a man or another woman. Dominant divas punish, abuse and humiliate their volunteer captives, using them as sexual playthings and targets of sadistic storms.

Dommes dress in leather and other shiny materials, short boots, stockings, garter belts, and bras. Mostly monochrome photographs show whip, cat, leather spanker and rope.

But it’s not always discipline, the purpose of which is rehabilitation. We are told, and are led to infer, that the sexy beauties of the photos derive pleasure from inflicting pain. Many of the narratives involve spouses in scenes that depict a sexy wife using, humiliating and hurting her husband. Some tableaux show demands for boot or body worship.

In Dominique of the Month, sultry Lauralee poses in front of a fireplace in a shiny black skirt. She holds a thick leather paddle as she stares at the camera lens.

The photography is good, with diffused lighting that develops few unpleasant shadows. Tonality was adjusted and spots retouched. All new scans.

In the digital replica, page layouts were revised slightly to avoid reduction of picture size on ebook pages. Empty margins were reduced or removed. The digital replica contains all content in the 64-page magazine, including one short story, ads, personals and eight dynamic illustrations by the Great Robert Bishop.

The optimized version is based on pictures, not pages. Each picture is positioned on a separate, wide ebook page. Most pictures fill the screen from top to bottom.

The models are shown complete. When the size of the original image permits, enlargements of detail are presented beside the complete image or on another page.

The optimized ebook shows the tableau within each picture, and the models’ pretty figures, much better than the old paper. As content permits, photographs have been sequenced to present narrative continuity and costume continuity.

The magazine contains about a dozen photos from unrelated sets. These are placed after the pictorials. Illustrations are clustered at the end of the optimized ebook. 120+ pages.

The result is a convenient fetish album that reduces the need for scrolling and zooming. There has never been a better mechanism for enjoying House of Milan images.
