Female Mimics pictures professional female impersonators as they perform on stage in night clubs and prepare to do so. One pictorial shows a pretty young femme dressing up at home.

Many pages have the look of a scrapbook of party snapshots. The layouts and graphics of this magazine are clearly superior to those of other Selbee products.

The first eight pages present the fabulous Coccinelle in assorted dresses and in repose. This extraordinary individual accomplishes a dazzling feminine presence. Accompanying text tells of the life of this uniquely-gifted entertainer.

Featured performers include Harry Weber & Laurie Knight, Hans (from Puerto Rico), Gerry Lee, Gene Burke, and Poppy Smith. Other pictorials focus on a spectrum of performance venues, including the Jewel Box Revue, Madame Arthur's Cabaret of Paris and Amsterdam, the San Francisco Beige Room, and the Beggars' Ball.

Some page layouts were revised to obtain larger pictures of the models. Retouching of specks, blemishes and streaks and adjustment of photo tonality provide a viewing experience superior to that of the original paper.

The ebook contains every word and picture of the 64-page original, including ads.
