The second issue of Female Impersonators offers some instruction on the application of cosmetics and shows us transvestites having fun at big parties and professional female impersonators en femme. The editor, Pudgy Roberts, worked as a female impersonator on stages in Chicago, New York and elsewhere. He appeared in motion pictures and wrote The Female Impersonator's Handbook in 1967.

One pictorial shows Tony Winters in an informative make-up progression that illustrates the transformation process. Mr. Roberts discusses the art of illusion in a short essay. Jackie Curtiss demonstrates useful walking and exercise techniques.

We're shown bevies of festive party-goers at New Orleans' Mardi Gras, Phil Black's Annual Valentine dance, and Luis's A Night for Lovers at the Hotel Diplomat. Cross-dressers young and old glam it up in furs, feathers, sequins, pearls, ribbons and bows.

Statuesque Chris Moore presents a sexy illusion on stage with feathers, fringe, and glittering gown. Petite Toni Lee dances in ballet shoes and chiffon. Lily St. Clair's revue has its own troupe of dancers. She designs all the costumes and appears onstage in pasties and stockings.

A Gallery of Greats pictures Michelle, Adrian, Ty Bennett, Jackie Gordon, Jackie Knight, Minette, Gary Webb, Leslie Marlow, and Chi Chi LaVerne. Other pictorials show us Bunny Lake, Baby Martell, Frankie Bennett, Mark Vickers and an appreciation of Charley Smith.

Letters from Readers are accompanied by snapshots. One page provides a list of American cabarets at which female impersonators perform.
