The magazine mixes content types to good advantage. Fiction, photographs, essay, cartoon, personals and a comic makes this a well-rounded volume in the series.


A 16-page gallery of accomplished female impersonators “of yesteryear” begins with publicity photos of professionals in costume. Most pictures also contain the name of the performer.


A second Gallery of Greats titled Swingers of Today seems to present mostly recreational cross-dressers, shown at home. On 18 pages, penises peek out in nearly every picture.


TV of the Month shows well-groomed Rachel. Unfortunately, her photos are grainy.


Illustrated with cheerful cartoons, The Lighter Side of Drag describes some strange and embarrassing circumstances in which transvestites find themselves. These environs include a restroom, shoe store and parties that mix lifestyles.


The Heloise House tells a story in comic panels. A transvestite begins working at a brothel with some success, because of the novelty. After surgery, things change.


The digital replica contains all content of the 64-page magazine included personal classified ads (with photographs) and advertising.


The tonality of photographs was adjusted and most images transposed nicely to the digital iteration. No page layouts were revised.
