The 38 issues of Exotique magazine contained a mix of prose, illustrations and photographs. Few of us ever saw an issue of Exotique with too many pictures. A booklet with the properties and dimensions of Exotique, Bizarre Party has photographs of two charming models on about half its pages and a story on the rest.

Both prose and images tell the tale of fetish model Carol, who invites her blond friend Helen over to dress up in sensuous attire for a classy bachelor ball at a big hotel. Carol explains that if they wear corsets, stockings, long gloves and high heels and behave as dominant women, they both will have opportunity to find a wealthy husband.

Photos coordinate nicely with text, which describes articles of clothing, dialog and the dress-up process. Although both beauties wear full-fashioned nylons, few pictures show seams.

The girls help each other tighten garter straps and corsets. Reduced waist measurements are stated in inches. Helen envies the knee-high boots Carol wears, but she suggests spike-heeled pumps for her slender cohort.

The quality of photography in the original reflects care and competence, but some regions of skin have a bit of texture. The ebook has been configured to fill pages from top to bottom present with the model content of each picture. To accomplish this, some furniture, carpet, and curtains were cropped out.

In the ebook, pages appear in the same sequence as the original. But, when possible, corsets, hosiery and footwear are repeated full-size, beside the complete image or on a separate page. At the end, two pages advertise Exotique products.

The ebook presentation improves on the conscientious work of the original with adjustments that brighten images and remove occasional spots. To avoid the appearance of film grain, no picture was stretched. Some shadows were reduced. All new scans.

The digital rendering provides the best mechanism for enjoying this rare fetish pinup album from the middle of that last century.
