Many of Mr. Burtman's titles intended to mine narrow ranges of interest. In this pursuit, his magazine titles advertised legs, stockings, high heels, cross-dressing, burlesque and other fetish subjects.
Forty-Plus sought to accommodate those who admired large-breasted models. With its genesis in 1962, the title sought to exploit the natural endowments of pinups, before surgical enhancements achieved their current popularity.
Starring Honey Bee, covers also promise bust beauty from Lorraine Burnett, Tanya, Ann Austin, Eleanor Ames and sexy Diane (Kaye) Kirby. Cheerful posers boast their assets on 64 pages, usually naked.
On the inside front cover, a disclaimer explains that the intent of all this nudity is the creation of a guide for professional artists, photographers and models that will help them pursue their art. Pretty posers' winks, smiles, mules, gloves and lingerie belie the idealism of the publisher's notice. Information about camera settings appears on the inside back cover.
The clay-coated paper translates well to the digital iteration, yielding clear images and a nice palette of grays. Brightness and contrast were adjusted and specks retouched. The optimized ebook contains all the content of the booklet, including a half-page advertisement.
Original pages contain one and two photographs. The optimized ebook places each photo on a wide, ebook page, usually filling the screen from top to bottom. Some of the pictures of Honey Bee in hosiery shows enlarged repetitions of her pretty legs. The digital iteration retains the picture sequence of the booklet-sized magazine.
All new scans.
For those who enjoy buxom allure, these curvaceous cuties deliver the good stuff in and out of hosiery, panties, garter belts, gloves, mules and bathtub suds. The models expose their natural bounty for careful inspection. The ebook makes it all easy to see.
