Mr. Stanton was involved in the publication of six volumes of Pleasure Parade, all of which had the size and binding of full-size magazines. Two artists he published in that series and elsewhere appear in the second volume of Pleasure Comics. Comic stories show shapely, 1970s-styled women, hurting men. Artists Charoy and Moreh use paint and ink to skillfully render splendid female forms.
The Gypsy [Hand]
A page in Pleasure Parade, No. Two, tells us that a story named The Gypsy follows. The Preface by Paul Savraada refers to it as The Gypsy Hand, “the beginning of a long story by Stanton which (sic) was never completed.”
Steve arrives home and finds wife Lorna absent. A business card suggests her current whereabouts. At a fortune teller's address, the belligerent husband meets an exotic gypsy and his wife, who apparently works there in deshabille. The two beauties are cool toward his heated indignation. In the last panel, Steve sees a man he knows, gagged and bound, with Lorna's gloved hands on him.
In a neighborhood of forbidding shadows, Mr. Stanton's paintings set up dynamics that would surely develop suitable penalties for male arrogance and misconduct. The mysterious premises of a fortune teller's place of business disclose circumstances that connect more tightly with kidnapping than the occult. Strong and sly, two lovely women engage in sexy mischief that's never defined.
Voluptuous Chastisement
Dr. Henry and Lorna, his unsatisfied wife of two years, stroll the park. As she details grievances with her stuffy spouse, they encounter two young beauties engaged in spanking. Lorna explains the sexual value of this activity and continues to complain about Henry's poor performance. After he storms off, the three shapely ladies conspire to give the doctor some backside lessons in how to treat a woman.
At home under Lorna's supervision, the lithe lovelies remove Henry's trousers, tie him to furniture and correct his bare cheeks with a leather belt. When the spankers depart, Lorna announces that she will take charge of the household now with her husband as maid.
Mr. Moreh orchestrates each of his sublime ladies in a concerto of lyrical curves. As a 1970 artifact, his ink work captures contemporary fashion and notions of beauty with precision and cheer. He's especially skillful rendering cleavage and hair styles.
Committed
Tired of his wife Cora, mean, vain Rod institutionalizes her, and plays house with Nurse Lila. At first, all goes smoothly with the glamorous blond, but when he complains about the money she spends, she blows smoke in his face and lets him know who's boss.
After luxury travel, Lila returns Cora to the household. The two beauties have lots of fun at Rod's expense, including bondage, pinching, whipping and servitude.
A professional portrait painter in France, Mr. Charnoy uses watercolor to subtly present the moods, forms and faces of his animated characters. Fluent in the graphic language of beauty, his flirtatious women allure us with personality and lingerie.
Fifty-five pages of comic panels are optimized on 110 ebook pages. Many dialog balloons were moved to the side to permit grand female figures to fill pages from top to bottom. Some figure elements are repeated, enlarged. The layout is intended to reduce the need for zooming and scrolling.
Contrast and brightness were adjusted. All original scans.
In the role of editor and publisher, Mr. Stanton presented exotic stories of beautiful women hurting men, both to improve them and for the pleasure of it. He understood that some male readers find femdom scenarios exciting, especially in domestic settings. The large-format, optimized ebook offers a convenient mechanism for the enjoyment of this erotic narrative art.
