Few American magazines showed picture stories about women dominating men before the advent of Mr. Burtman's Bizarre Life in 1966. Photos were staged in offices, apartments and hotel rooms. Often, primary lighting came from a flash bulb, with shadowy results.

Fifteen years later, we find professionals at Hudson Communications exploiting capabilities of well-equipped photographers telling similar narratives of angry women in fetish attire whipping helpless males. Properly lit studios yield clear images of svelte beauties hurting males at their feet.

This issue of Bizarre Fantasies introduces us to four sets of characters, each involving dominance and submission. Three include a male who becomes acquainted with carpet on which his superiors stand and one consists of two women. No short stories or illustrations.

Ingrid's Protegee
