Boys Will Be Girls, Leslie's Adventures in Petticoatland, Book 8
Returning home after a successful trip to the lingerie boutique, Leslie and his aunt discuss the feminization program. They visit young James, who has recently found himself converted into Jeannie. Believing Leslie to be a real girl, the lad tries to make a pass at him with sensuous results.

The informed prose uses the words frilly, petticoat, cashmere, cincher, frock, chiffon, panties, and silken in its vocabulary. Episodes include a bath, the installation of a modesty device with bows and ribbon, putting on stockings, lipstick, breasts, panties, a brassiere, and other assorted lingerie and frocks.

Mr. Bilbrew's excellent ink renderings show Leslie, Jeannie and Bobby as described in the story. The nexus of intertwined male and female characteristics are nicely delineated with lace, ruffles, and bows on boys bodies, but a few pictures show breasts. Several drawings depict the most personal attentions women pay to the transvestites' most private parts. More than 10 drawings.

From the text:
After a few sessions at Madame's, a young boy would forever associate the wearing of pretty female garments with the most delightful sensations possible.

Leslie, when he had first gone to Madame Modiste's, was already a willing petticoat slave. Marie and Miss Staylace had seen to that, what with frequent sensation-raising sessions conducted at home and in Miss Staylace's quarters at school.

The Budding Transvestite
This volume is the first in a series of three with the same title. The anonymous prose has a nicely different tone and texture from the typical Mutrix narrative. It attempts to explore memories, feelings, and sensations as well as describe events, contacts and fetish attire. Overall, the story is a rather sensuous tale of Joel's fascination with all things feminine, his early experience with his mother's negligee, and her involvement in his actualization as a transvestite when he's older.

From the text:
The touch of the silk on his masculinity is like an aphrodisiac. With only the tips of her fingers, she caresses the undersurface . . .

In nine illustrations that accompany text, “Eneg” did a great job showing Joel in female undergarments and his voluptuous mother harvesting his arousal. The sequence of the pictures in the reprint has been revised to more closely position them near the text they illuminate.
