Co-ordination of illustrations and prose suggests that content was managed by the great Mr. Ward. One of the most productive illustrators of the 20th century, his fluid lines delineate voluptuous beauties, most of whom wear high heels, sheer stockings and figure-shaping corsets.

Jenkins, the butler, introduced Ruth to the thrills of tight leather gloves when she was still in her teens. He stole into her bedroom and taught her to masturbate him while wearing gloves. She developed a leather fetish and enjoyed handling and controlling his manhood.

The original publication had the construction and dimensions of a full-sized magazine. The layout alternated text on even-numbered pages with pictures on odd-numbered and the full-sized ebook does the opposite.
