Female Impersonators On Parade, Vol. 3
Volume Three introduces us to Coccinelle, Bambi, Everest, Tania, Lisa, Wanda, Zambella, and Carlove, grand cabaret performers with successful careers and femininity to spare. Photographs mostly show these glamorous guys onstage, but some photographs were made in studios.

A French wonder, Coccinelle shows the flirty demeanor of a pin-up with all requisite curves. Unlike most impersonators, whose appearance is modified only by make-up, wigs, foundation garments and misdirection, her transformation was enhanced by medication administered under a doctor's supervision. Her female persona dazzles with beauty and charm. Exploring his feminine side in his teens, the gifted singer/dancer lived her adult life as a woman.

At Chez Madame Arthur in Paris, slender Bambi works the stage and the floor between performances. Although he lives as a man offstage, he likes to mix with the audience and be photographed with fans while in female dress.

Another Madame Arthur alumnus, Everest dances in ornate production numbers as a showgirl. He wears headpieces in the shape of famous French architecture that light up.

Tania, Lisa, Wanda, Zambella, and Carlove, also performed at Chez Madame Arthur in glittery feminine finery. Gowns, feathers, furs and fringe help develop a convincing female presence onstage, the product of years of practice and dedication to this challenging theatrical form.

The ebook delivers a complete digital iteration of the 64-page booklet. Tonality of photographs was adjusted. The ebook design shows all content as large as possible
on monitor screens.

Presenting: Robin Roberts
Robin Roberts was a favorite of Mr. Burtman, appearing in his Bizarre Life and other publications. One page of text says that Mr. Roberts lives and performs in Miami Beach, enjoying the ocean and sunshine there.

The first pages show him undressing at home, by the pool. While looking at a mirror, he applies make-up.

He shows off his petite feminine figure in gowns, furs and casual wear. Some pictures show him in RHT nylons, garter belt and dancer's mules.

Robin convinces us that he enjoys being girlish. Through the camera lens, he evokes a femininity that twirls from coy to pixie to glamorous to seductive.

All the content of the 1960s booklet is included in the digital replica. Most pages show a single photograph. The layouts of a few pages that show two pictures have been changed to avoid reducing the size of images. Some pictures were rotated to correct orientation.

Brightness and contrast were adjusted. Ebook format shows content as large as possible on monitors.

All new scans of the original publication.
