After Leonard Burtman discontinued publication of his now legendary Exotique in 1959, he introduced Satana, High Heels, Leg Show, Corporal, Three, Stocking Parade, and others, including Bizarre Life magazine. His 60’s publications had more and larger pages and much better photography.

The ebook contains all 76 pages of Bizarre Life Volume 1, Number 2. It is of interest to Selbee/Burtman fans because its contents comprise no part of any anthology. This issue ofBizarre Life focuses more on what the fashionable dominant woman might wear than the dynamics of her relationships.

One of Mr. Burtman’s most important contributions to the art and history of fetish publishing was his continuous presentation of the works of Eric Stanton and Gene Bilbrew (who also signed his drawings as Eneg, Van Rod, J Bondy, Nan Gilbert and other names). This issue contains multiple contributions from both of these masters, including a three-page episode of the Sweeter Gwen serial by Stanton.

Photos of Monique von Cleef show off the form and style of a famous 20th century dominant, who later became notorious for her "House of Pain" and book of the same name. In snapshots staged in Mr. Burtman's Manhattan apartment, a pretty party girl strips down to her corset and nylons.

Publicity stills (and a Stanton painting) present actress Meg Myles in boots and leather from Satan in High Heels, Mr. Burtman's 1962 feature film. This issue is filled with photos of models dressed in tight-fitting leather dresses and jumpsuits, stockings, corsets, garter belts and high-heeled footwear, including mules, pumps, and boots.
