A full-sized magazine printed on good quality, clay-coated stock, Deadlier than the Male shows excellent professional photography, which transposed smoothly to ebook formats. The digital replica contains all content of the 64-page magazine, including ads. Some page layouts were revised. The sequence of pages was changed to obtain continuity of the short story.

Brightness and contrast of photographs and illustrations were adjusted and some specks retouched. Some furniture, walls, carpet and window coverings were cropped out for fit.
