Both of the books that serve as source material for ebooks in this product were inspired by publisher Leonard Burtman. His favorite erotic fantasy involved a beautiful fetish doll who disciplines a man at home or at work. Sometimes, as in the cases of Dominant Desires and Nursed into Submission, the high-heeled lovelies would be knowledgeable hobbyists who don’t ask for a fee. They punish men as a therapeutic psychodrama to accomplish sexual rehabilitation.
A similar theme is also found in Burglar in Bondage, in which a thwarted thief begins to overcome dysfunction when his sexy, would-be victims exact cruel revenge. In some stories, an errant male is punished by an angry woman who, after repackaging herself in leather, returns to the offender to exact bizarre, sadistic justice in the form of humiliating penalty rituals.
Whether Mr. Burtman’s fantasies actually accomplish the health benefits they depict is an unanswered question. He spent his adult life exploring and exposing his own fetish/femdom interests, presenting them in publications for the world to see. His repeated interpretations of these themes — from the 1950s to the 1980s — suggest pursuit of perfecting them in print.
He never stopped trying to assemble the ideal team of artist/photographer and writer to craft the definitive visualization of the tableaux, relationships, costumes, symbolism, and reactions that populated his active imagination. We glean this from the large body of work, his published legacy to us, and the repetition of certain themes, personalities and scenarios in those adult books and magazines. The pictures and stories for which he was responsible constitute candid revelation of his erotic daydreams and continue to entertain in the century that follows his death.
Nursed into Submission
Nurse Arlene [Jennifer Jordan, the second Mrs. Burtman, also seen in Justine and Burglar in Bondage] appears at the urban home of a wealthy playboy to deliver care after he takes an overdose. In conversation, she learns that he is bored and despondent without satisfying relationships with women. The proper treatment for his malaise is obvious to her: he must be dominated by women with whips who understand his weaknesses.
During their chat, Arlene strips to reveal nurse’s fetish undies: white push-up bra, white panties, white garter belt, white stockings and strappy white mules with four-inch heels.
She phones her friend Wanda and invites her over to render assistance in Richard’s rehabilitation. As a longtime member of O.D.F. (The Order of Dominant Females), Wanda’s study and training render her ideal as a volunteer practitioner of male domination.
She soon arrives, dressed for action in long, black leather gloves, black satin waist-cincher, black leather panties, sheer black stockings and black patent pumps with five-inch heels. She tightens a black leather corset around Arlene, who also wears lacy black panties, black stockings, black leather boots with four-inch heels and a blond hair-piece with tubular curls.
They get drowsy Richard out of bed, fasten a dog collar and leash, whip him, gag him with lingerie, force him to kiss footwear. The objective of these rituals is to cure him of his false sense of masculine superiority.
Apparently, the treatment works. In the last chapter, Arlene and Richard are wife and dominated husband who live happily.
The prose was scanned as text and can be read out loud in Acrobat Reader with the proper hardware. The text has been edited a bit to remove spelling errors, reduce wordiness and to be more closely related to the photographs. Some content was re-arranged to to obtain alignment of photos with text.
The models are experienced posers who understand their roles. While some pictures show unpleasant shadows from flashbulbs, most reveal excellent figures in sexy fetish attire. The optimized ebook makes the most of the photos, fitting them on wide pages that fill the screen from top to bottom. In the original, photographs are large, filling the paper pages from edge to edge. This enables repetition of tasty fetish details, enlarged on separate pages. Although the the color covers are included in the ebook, scratches and tears reduce their quality. The front cover is a reconstruction.
The ebook is more than 70 pages. Pictures have been placed on more than 50 pages. The optimized ebook delivers a viewing/reading experience of fetish femdom material that is far more convenient than the paper original. And repeated readings will not wear out or damage the .pdf file.

Different pictures from this photo shoot also appeared in a pictorial in Unique World Number One, which was also published in 1971. That pictorial was also titled “Dominant Duo” and about 10 of those pictures are included in this ebook.
The ebook optimizes the good photography, positioning pictures close to the prose that describes it, as possible. The original booklet has 8 full-page photographs in color. Fetish details in the color pictures are repeated, enlarged on separate pages.

When customers make suggestions, it’s often something they enjoyed when they were younger but no longer have. Sometimes, I can’t find the suggested item. When I find the requested book or magazine and it’s available at a reasonable price, the ebook product turns out to be better than average. Ebooks that were suggested are Bizarre Life, Volume 1, Number 8, The Spider’s Sex Slaves, Dominant Desires, and Female Mimics 6.
In addition to expressed enthusiasm from someone we know, this book has been resoundingly endorsed by someone about whom we know nothing: the book's previous owner. Old books may show their age because they were stored in adverse environments, such as excessive heat or dampness. These circumstances could manifest themselves with yellowed, rippled or stained pages.
In the case of the 40-year-old booklet from which the Nursed into Submission ebook was derived, the book is worn and coming apart because it has been looked at hundreds of times by its previous owner in the decades that he had it. The color pictures on the front and back covers have countless scratches and the edges of the paper are chipped and tattered. A staple is missing. The folds in the paper are split halfway. Many pieces of clear tape were used to accomplish repair of the outer pages.
The copy of Nursed into Submission that was used as source material has been enjoyed by the previous owner(s) on countless occasions because this is a rare work of literature and photography that provides entertainment for those with certain interests.
