Stanton Archives Catalogue
Hudson Communications Inc.
New York, New York
1980
digital replica
Mr. Stanton sold this catalog, his own work and the work other artists and writers by mail. He made up supplements to the catalog that advertised his Stantoons booklets, but those are not part of this product.
The 70-page volume offers books, booklets, photo sets and films. One of the best sections lists 1960s comics printed on a single sheet of paper from the Peerless Sales Classics series. Materials explore female domination, male domination, face-sitting, wrestling, punishment and bondage themes.
One or two sentences describe each numbered product and a proximate picture from that work is similarly numbered.
The catalog offers the work of Mr. Stanton and many other artists, including
— DeMulatto
— Lyons
— Red
— Tom
— Glen
— Bilbrew
— RAM
— Fleuretly
— Dancer
— Thomas
— Winters
— Marculeta

Although Stanton Archives Catalogue has the proportions of a standard magazine, page content is horizontally oriented. Ebook pages are horizontal rectangles and content was placed
without reduction.
A few page layouts were revised slightly. The ebook includes all content of the original, including covers, in the original page sequence. Each ebook page consists of a single image file.
Picture content consists of line art, drawings that show gray gradients and photographs. Despite digital image editing, some photos and illustrations lack clarity. Brightness and contrast were adjusted, providing a viewing experience superior to the original.
All new scans.
For some Stanton fans, Stanton Archives Catalogue serves as a comprehensive reference for his work between 1960 and 1980. For others, the volume works as a nostalgic browser's magazine that collects the art of many diverse talents. However it may be used, the full-sized digital replica delivers all the content in an a convenient form.
