Some people think that J. Ashely and Robert Bishop are the same person.
We don't.

The words and pictures of Ashely Two compose an all-female bondage/punishment fantasy set in England during the time of Queen Victoria. There's no Fellowes here. Instead, a “gorgeous” (the author uses the term 12 times) sadist named Denise, Marquise De La Roche, exercises what she believes to be her royal prerogatives and imprisons lovely British teenagers. In her English pied-a-terre, the ancient Manor of Torn, she whips, canes, and binds her captives and otherwise uses them for her pleasure.

Denise speaks a mixture of French and English to Jenny and Molly, pretty members of the Royal Sea Girls organization. Jenny feels scandalized when she first sees Denise, as she is half-naked. When Denise insists that Jenny disrobe, she feels shame and outrage.

The Marquise enjoys caning her sweet “pigeon,” bringing color to pale cheeks and thighs. At the end of a long day of chastisement, Jenny gets locked in a dungeon cell immobilized by heavy irons and ropes.

“The so heavy chains are not for the escape, cherie. They are for punish, for telling the jeune fille she has been bad and will be bad again. It is to tell her she belongs to me.” Tenderly, Denise untied her new possession and laid her whip marked nudity upon the stone. With palpitating pussy, she locked heavy irons upon the slender young ankles that now would never run, locked others upon the girlish waist that had done no wrong. Then fitted carefully the iron collar on the gentle neck, the sweet youthful column of ivory that had harmed her not at all.

The padlock clicked, the links of iron chain trailed their way to the ringbolt in the wall. Jenny Jimpson was captive. When the child moved she did so against the dragging weight of the chains of De La Roche.

Denise was enraptured. “Almost you are the loveliest of them all . . . “ It was as though she were speaking to herself.

“Please, Madame, what will you do with me?” Jenny asked pathetically.

“Keep you captive always, ma cherie. Never will I let you go.” Denise fingered the metal bands lovingly as though it was upon her own nakedness they were locked. “You are made for slavery, for whippings and for love.”

“For always — in this dungeon?” Jenny was appalled.

“Mais non, ma petite. At Chatillon in Picardy I have many rooms. Sweet tower prisons where the sunlight seeks you through the bars. Iron cages, an oubliette for very naughty girls, a cell as with the gendarmerie!” The Marquise glowed.

Denise persuades Jenny to write a letter to her girlfriend, Molly, telling her that she has found a wonderful home with a beautiful hostess. When Molly arrives, she soon realizes that she too has become captive of the Marquise and finds herself bound to Jenny in a stony cell.

The Marquise is served by a Butler named Meadows. His despair over the cruelty of his glamorous employer leads him to resign and leave his keys with Molly.

The young ladies make the most of this unexpected opportunity and give the Marquise a taste of her own discipline. Molly expands into her new role.

Mr. Campbell's expert prose defines a fast-moving story with copious bondage details and fetish notes. He crafts a vicious protagonist and her helpless prey, sharing his knowledge of dungeons, irons, canes and French.

The text has been re-set for the ebook iteration. The digital version retains the vocabulary, punctuation and syntax of the original. A few words were changed. 22,000 words.

Ashley's artistry appears in 12 original illustrations that closely relate to the Campbell narrative. Shapely characters express his slender, feminine ideal, sometimes dressed in stockings, garters, boots and corset. Captives often appear wearing only socks.

Pictures were optimized on 50 pages, presenting the complete illustration, including borders, first, followed by virtual enlargements of figure features and fetish details. This presentation technique is intended to reduce the need for zooming and scrolling.

Brightness, contrast and levels were adjusted and shadows reduced to show texture. Pictures transposed to ebook format with clarity.
