Scenes of violence and sex fill this book. The savages of the title like to hurt people. They torture, but there are fights, too, dungeon wrestling where men and women grapple. And lots of blood.

Episodes have both male-dom and femdom themes. Whips, canes and heels (see cover) are used as punishment utensils.

In one chapter, two women attach a man to a rack.

Instead of jabbing at him with the sword, she swung it high in the air, slicing the
blade through the taut rope from which Wolfgang dangled. He came crashing down. His hands were still cuffed together.

“Now why did you do that?” Freda asked, puzzled.

“I have other ideas. I’d rather he wasn’t hanging in the air by his wrists,” Cora said, putting aside the sword. Cora explained to Freda what she wanted done, and together they pushed Wolfgang around, finally bending him backwards over the creaking wheel of a rack, fastening his legs and arms down so he could barely move.

Wolfgang did not say a word. He glared at Cora as Freda backed away, giving her a free hand with him. Cora walked over to Wolfgang, wagging a long, slender length of birch in her hand.

With a swipe of her arm she slashed the limber length of birch across his chest. It left a narrow red welt etched in his flesh. Wolfgang stiffened as pain generated from the welt.

Again she lashed at him with the birch switch. It struck across his chest, crisscrossing the first welt, leaving a flaming X on him. Wolfgang grimaced and groaned.

Cora began to whip him with brutal concentration, flogging the switch over his chest, ribcage and stomach, leaving a web of red streaks over the upper, front of his body. As she beat him she grinned. She struck him forehand and backhand, and the welts began to bleed as she increased the power of her murderous blows.

With sadistic accuracy she slashed the birch switch over his little, flat left nipple. Wolfgang howled in pain as the switch bloodied his nipple. And then Cora sliced the switch through his other nipple, leaving it oozing blood. With a laugh of contempt she ended the beating by slashing the length of birch against the soft, thick shaft of his cock. Wolfgang screamed in anguish as blood seeped from his painful cock wound.

Cora put the switch aside and took a large copper dipper and dipped it into a vat of highly salted cold water. She trickled the salty water over his welts and bleeding wounds. The salty water ate into the open wounds causing him excruciating pain. Wolfgang’s eyes seemed to sink into his head and he turned chalk white as he shouted out his blazing pain. Cora ignored his bitter complaint and continued to trickle salty water over his gaping wounds.

Then, with Freda helping, Cora unbound the shaken, weak, suffering man and rebound him to the wheel of the rack, this time, face-down. She still had the dipper in her hand. This time she plunged it into a big pot of steaming wax. . . .

The action involves two airline hostesses who share an appetite for kinky sex. Their travels take them to exotic destinations and the homes of wealthy men with comparable proclivities.

Mr. Corty's easy-to-read text was reset for the ebook iteration. Few changes were made to his colorful prose. About 38000 words.

Ten ink tableaux by the Great Bill Ward illustrate the narrative. His sensuous beauties are shown fighting, spanking, whipping and having sex. In most pictures, they wear nylons and high-heeled shoes or boots. In others, corsets, garter belts or long gloves.

Mr. Ward's art was optimized on 30 pages, intended to reduce the need for zooming and scrolling. His drawings closely align with scenes in the story. In the ebook, optimized images were placed near text that describes the action they show.

Brightness, contrast and levels were adjusted and shadows reduced to show detail. Most pictures transposed to ebook format with smooth edges.
