A 48-page magazine, photographs in Women in Command, Volume 1, Number 4, show three models. The captions describe relationships and action between characters on a single day.

It's a magazine that tells a story in pictures and few words. In some ways, it's similar to the digest-sized Connoisseur Series “Foto-Fiction” booklets Mr. Burtman published in the early 1960s. Twenty years later, he was able to show women dominating men for their own sexual entertainment and a naked male providing oral service for two gorgeous lesbians.

The good photography gives the appearance of natural light, with few unpleasant shadows. In the ebook, some skin shows rough texture but edges are clear.

Image brightness and contrast were adjusted, specks re-touched. Pictures were cropped to arrange for the models (or their most appealing parts) to fill the screen from top to bottom. The optimized presentation repeats action or fetish treats next to the complete photo or on the following page.
