Using materials that appear in three Neptune Productions (originators of The Female Impersonator magazine and other trans-related titles) publications, Cross Dresser Comics collects seven stories drawn and written by Dwain. A few explore circumstances in which a man finds it necessary to dress as a woman. Many involve man-to-man sex.

All of these stories have a nameless male protagonist who describes events, impressions and emotions in first-person narrative blocks. While there's violence and abuse, plots turn toward self-awareness

While females and men dressed as women have appealing figures, story-lines seem to drive the author. Dwain's skillful ink work renders sexy sensualists at play.

Hey, Babe

A man's sister encourages him to get in touch with his inner female and wear her lingerie. When walking in public dressed en femme, men give him attention. Ron brings him to an apartment and they have a steamy soiree. When the man returns for more, the place is vacant.

Donachelli's Daughter

When Donachelli's daughter catches a second story man with his hand in her jewelry box, they have sex. To hide him from her father's bodyguards, she has him dress as a maid. Eventually, the old man uses him for pleasure.

How I Became A Transvestite

A man visits an old friend and a pretty blond greets him at the door. She offers/demands that he dress in lingerie. When the friend appears, he uses the cross-dressed visitor for sex. Finally, the friend reveals that he was the blond at the door.

She Calls

A secret cult endows a transvestite with special powers. When he misuses the power, they summon him for punishment, delivered by a strange being.

Timing

Bruce survives a raid, but gets captured by a gay assassin who wants him to dress as a woman. Bruce likes the sex, but plots to extricate himself from his predicament.

My Love's A Cheat

A vice squad cop who often goes undercover as a woman gets suspicious about his wife's activities. The wife has liaisons with a woman who turns out to be a man named Sol. He and the cop become gay lovers, but troubles continue at home.

The Heloise House

A transvestite gets to work in a brothel as a novelty item. Eventually, the novelty wears off.

The panels of each comic story were placed one to a page. To show characters at maximum size, some narrative blocks were moved to the side or re-arranged. 100+ pages.

Bright, contrast and levels were adjusted. Most pictures are clear.

Four of the stories are original scans. Nudity.
