Cavalier magazine began entertaining men with photos and articles in 1952, a year before the first issue of Playboy. In the early 1970s, Cavalier began a series of comics inspired by ideas suggested by readers in its Fight Time! Letters section. The focus on beautiful brawlers continued when Cavalier switched from print to an online presence.
Most of these comic stories involve cantankerous cuties who fight over a husband or boyfriend. Bouts heat up in a living room, back yard, bar, diner, store, ring, and outdoor photo shoot.
Boisterous babes box and wrestle, which often means pinching, biting, scissoring, punching and twisting sensitive body parts. Combat pictures show kicks, arm locks, throws, pins, flips, gouging, and straddles. Clothing is torn, hair is pulled, skin is scratched. Expect some face-sitting in finale panels.
Busty brawlers typically face off in little clothing and wind up wearing nothing. In one story, rivals wear boxing gloves. Some stories show sexual contact.
As in other comics, panels include dialog balloons and narrative blocks. The narration in these stories is often expressed in first person accounts (reflecting Fight Time! suggestions) from the point of view of entertained husband or territory-protecting wife. Male characters comment that they enjoy the attention, conflict, violence and sexually stimulating effects.
Contents include
– All-Blonde Brawl
– Showdown at the Diner
– Cheri vs Heather — Ardoni
– In the Ring — Big D
– Fight for Him — Scott Van Sickle
– Camping Clash
– Maureen vs Dee — Big D
– Barroom Battle — Ardoni
Original comic pages consist of six or more panels. For the optimized version, each panel was placed on a separate ebook page. In the many layouts, dialog balloons and narrative captions were re-positioned to permit presentation of characters at maximum height.
Brightness and contrast were adjusted. All new scans.
The ebook shows more than 300 pictures of pulchritudinous punchers. Computer hardware, not image editing software, fills your monitor or tablet screen, reducing the need for zooming and scrolling.
These presentation techniques show the toss-em, sock-em action of battling-babe comics up-close and boisterous with sexy grapplers in testy tumult.
