In the 1970s, Eros Publishing Company launched the Bizarre Books series with diagonal Eros Goldstripe ribbons on covers. The series featured male domination and female domination themes, often with forced transvestism and fetish rituals, usually illustrated by a gifted artist.

She-Man Slave works as biography of a child born to British nobility. His mother dies during childbirth, and the child is raised by his aunt, who will not live with a disgusting male in her home. She dresses, disciplines and educates him as a girl.

With repeated references to tight corsets and cane spankings under the demanding administration of inflexible female authority, the first part of the novel reads like Miss High Heels. The remainder exposes the androgynous sexuality of Joanna in a series of liaisons with older men. Both sadists and lovers connect with lovely Joanna.

Her gender duality enchants a lawyer. One of her lovers puts her in bizarre bondage. Another enhances her anatomy through surgery. Some episodes may appeal to those who enjoy gay fiction.

from the back cover —

He was born Lord John but brought up as Lady Joanna. A demented aunt taught him that passion and pain were synonymous — that the whip and the chain were the only instruments that would determine the direction of his life and his ecstasy.

When, as Joanna, he was finally freed from the stranglehold of his savage aunt, he was passed into the care of an older man and the two of them entered into the strangest kind of sexual union imaginable. What followed?

As John, humiliation, despair, abuse that few men or women ever dreamed possible. Years in prison, tormented by brutal inmates who took sexual advantage of his androgynous nature. As Joanna once again, he met an American lover, handsome, virile, all male—or was he? Yet, all might have ended happily ever after had it not been for the sinister Baron Joachim Von Rentlow.

SHE-MALE SLAVE is a shattering chronicle of a sexual victim who lived life as a male and female slave at the mercy of merciless men and women. You will never forget it.

The prose describes textures, sensations and emotions. The diction sounds British, with details that situate the action in history, geography, law and culture.
