After the death of Mr. Klaw in 1966, his sister Pauline sold about 70 sets of flats to Ed Mishkin, who had been a prolific publisher of controversial adult material since the early 1950s. Flats contained the films with which offset plates were burned. Mr. Mishkin was publishing Mutrix booklets in Jersey City at the time the flats were delivered, and 70 of his Mutrix titles were second printings of Nutrix booklets. This item shows Nutrix on the title pages and Mutrix on the front covers.
Mr. Klaw sold print photographs (8 x 10 glossies) originally intended to advertise feature films. Hollywood studios would send a set of 12 pictures as part of a press kit to movie theaters that exhibited and publications that reviewed films. He acquired them from these sources after they used them for their intended purpose
At his Manhattan store, pictures were organized by movie and actor names. Legend says that he received continuous requests for movie stills that showed Hollywood actresses tied up. As each set of 12 contained no more than one of these, he never had enough to satisfy demand. The popularity of this scenario suggested the idea that he make his own photos of damsels in distress and sell them by mail. Persecution by local law enforcement and postal officials hastened his hegira to New Jersey, where he began publishing his Nutrix booklets on several themes, including bondage.
Mistress of Bondage Terror
The story comes into existence in the early 1960s, when the Berlin Wall was built, when the first James Bond movies were made, when the Cuban missile crisis threatened to heat up the Cold War. Espionage involving alien evil was a common motif in all kinds of narrative (comic books, novels, television shows, plays, feature films), including Mr. Klaw's products.
An accomplished covert agent, Tanya must find an ingenious scientist who would be useful to her superiors. No one knows where he is and she schemes to find out from his daughter, Sally. To find Sally, Tanya must obtain information from Sally's friends — Marla, Cindy, and Ellen. To make them talk, Sally ropes them into uncomfortable bondage, blindfolds and gags them. Each girl eventually tells Tanya what she wants to know, and she captures Sally.
Shapely damsels are mostly shown in living rooms, tied with rope. In the last sequence. Sally is bound to posts outdoors. Slim models wear stockings, garter belts, a corset, panties, gloves and high heels.
It's likely that the pictures were made before the story was written. The story connects circumstances shown in the pictures, which are positioned near prose that describes their narrative content.
The digital replica presents each page of the booklet in the original sequence. Tonality was adjusted and many specks retouched. Photographs with a horizontal orientation were rotated to appear appropriately in the ebook.

Girls Weird Bondage Nightmare
Because the booklet was received in poor condition, only about 30 photographs from Girls Weird Bondage Nightmare are included in this product. No text.
Rope accomplishes bondage, but a ladder, chair and wood frame assist. Scarves and a ball gag. Predicaments look unpleasant for young ladies in skirts, blouses, bras, panties and a rubber dress.
Tonality was adjusted and many specks retouched. Photographs with a horizontal orientation have been rotated to appear appropriately in the ebook.

Generously-proportioned panties, high heels and snug hosiery blend plenty of fetish nostalgia into the narrative mix. Despite defects, ebook presentation of these mid-century images improves the originals.
