The first issue of Parliament's Spitfires magazine shows us pretty young athletes in combat, in the ring, in mud, in oil, on the mat. Action photos show limber grapplers pinching, punching, kneeing, grabbing and flipping.

The page-three editorial expresses dramatic ambitions:

Spitfire takes you beyond the realm of your private fantasies. For those of you who like the ultimate thrill that female combat gives, you can witness such in this provocative new publication.

We'll take you to the arenas where these women of war hangout. We will take you inside their world of raging hostility. You'll be able to feel first hand the violence that grips your entire body while threatening to tear you apart.

The name of the game is kick ass or have yours kicked. The women that make the rules welcome any challenger who thinks that he or she can measure up to the brutal punishment that is dished out nightly in these hellish brawl holes.

Spitfire will also go behind the individual and find out why these women warriors like to get it on in physical combat with one another. You'll learn of the sleepless nights that are spent and the countless hours of physical training that is put in just so that they can endure the pain their bodies may be subjected to.

Oil Warriors

On a shiny mat, two beauties strip down, slap and punch each other.

Plato's Fighting Bitches

In Plato's World of Mud, Oil and Boxing, topless beauties grapple in the ring in panties and even less. Some engage with boxing gloves, sometimes with helmets.

Bad Mouthin' Hellcat

Fierce wrestling transforms into lesbian liaison on a mattress indoors.

Screaming Barbarians!

At New York City's Plato's Retreat, barefoot boxers train for big bouts.

The magazine presents some 1960s wrestling comics. In their original format, these Peerless four-pagers consisted of panels on four full-sized pages. In Spitfires, four pages are laid out small, on a single magazine page. Titles include -

Fighting Gang Girls — Saja

Big Milly - “Beat Street” — Eneg

Kitti Kane - “Flight Fight” — Eneg

Booze Battle — Eneg

Blondetta in “Foul Fowl Feud” — Eneg

The magazine includes a raunchy letters section called Bitch Bag. Here's an example:

To Whom it May Concern, I want Brooklyn Bertha, or Brooklyn Bomber, or whatever that bragging bitch's name is! I got sick when I read the interview with her in your survey issue! She really thinks she's hot stuff, doesn't she?

If she had the guts to climb into a ring with me, I'd show her just how hard Western girls can hit! I'm the champ of our local fighting club and I bet that there are 3 or 4 girls here who are all tougher than she is!

I want her! I want to punch her face into a bloody pulp in front of your photographers! Your article didn't say how tall or heavy the slut is, but if she's under 5' 6" and 130,1 guarantee I'll kick her ass! No head protectors . . . regular gloves or bare knuckels . . . fight until one of us is knocked-out or submits. How about it, Brooklyn! All mouth?

The ebook contains all content of 44-page magazine, including two pages of advertising, in the original page sequence. Some borders and margins were cropped out. A few page layouts were revised.
