While we've made a dozen requested Bill-Ward-illustrated novels into ebooks, this is the first publication of any kind that's been requested by three people. While it's easy to find old Bizzare Books paperbacks for sale, it took years to find an original of Fetish Lover. This scarcity might mean that those who bought a copy in 1972 are reluctant to part with it.

Many Bizarre Books novels have sexy sadists who derive pleasure from dominating and humiliating men. Foot and shoe worship works as a common ritual in femdom fiction, demanded by women in control. The gesture of a man's mouth on the part of a woman's body and attire closest to the floor reflects the hierarchy defined in dom/sub relationships. Concurrently, the ritual expresses fetishist and masochist fantasy, cloaked in a gesture of female supremacy.

In Fetish Lover, Lorna Dudley enjoys abusing and insulting husband Mike, ridiculing him about his shoe fetish. She demands boot and body worship in conjunction with whipping him as foreplay.

But Mike is distinguishable from other Bizarre Books masochists in that he has a feverish interest in high-heeled shoes when they enclose no feet, as discrete fetish objects that fascinate, excite and satisfy. In one scene, Lorna inserts a shoe in her husband's mouth while she sits astride him.

A second strain of uniqueness here manifests in the character of theatrical producer Jules Herrick, who Lorna identifies as a stocking fetishist. While dominant females enforce cross-dressing on their submissive males, Lorna merely offers her stockings to Herrick. He's eager to touch and wear them, but not as part of a complete costume.

The back cover outlines episodes in the story —

Lorna knew exactly how to cater to her husband Mike's sexual needs. Ten years of marriage had made her his master, a cruel and domineering woman whose cunning and debasing ways had reduced him to a level of psychic impotence. Pandering to his fetish for high-heeled leather shoes, she tortured him mercilessly, satisfying her own sadistic needs with bouts of sodomy and whippings that left his flesh raw and bloodied.

But what Lorna didn't know was that her well-hung pro football player of a husband lived in a secret world all his own, a twilight world where he exposed himself to young women, where he hid behind park benches and forced unwary girls to suck him off.

And when Lorna lands a part in a Broadway show, only to discover that the producer's daughter was one of her husband's many victims, Lorna and the producer join up in a bizarre plot to punish Mike. The cruel tortures they put him through, humiliating and debasing him even more, lead Mike back to his own infernal pit of anguish. . . .

Mr. MacKenzie exposes the strange passions of his characters with explicit thoughts, plans, sensations and worries. In a flashback, he reveals how a young woman used her high-heeled shoe to give Mike a memorable experience.

The author provides costume details of the voluptuous tormentor who precipitates most of the kinky action. She wears spike-heeled shoes and boots, long gloves, corsets, garter belts and nylons. Lorna uses varied whips, a dildo, steel shackles, Herrick and an electric toaster to hurt her husband.

The text has been reset for the ebook iteration. Few changes were made to the fast-moving prose. About 33,000 words.

The ebook shows the covers and all content of the paperback book, except ads. Action and tasty fetish features of 16 dynamic images by the Great Bill Ward are repeated, enlarged, on separate pages. The ebook shows pictures on more than 70 optimized pages, providing a unique visual experience.

Most illustrations depict incidents in the story and the grand bitch in a spectrum of stormy moods. As permitted by story content, page sequence was revised to position each picture close to related prose, but text does not describe every picture precisely nor does every scene appear in pictures.

A second ebook contains only optimized pictures on 70+ pages.

All new scans. Tonality of images was adjusted to yield smooth edges and good contrast.
